Belle Doyle was the premier locations manager in Scotland for nearly a decade with appointments at both Scottish Screen and Creative Scotland. Throughout her career she has been active in mobilizing resources for the Scottish motion picture industry. Here she reflects on the country’s place in the greater UK production economy with particular attention given to the plight of local film and television practitioners.
