    Mary Jane Fort has more than two decades of experience as a costume designer on feature films such as Mean Girls and television shows such as Grounded for Life. In this conversation, Fort explains the little known aspects of the costume designer’s job, as well as such issues as creative collaboration, emotional labor, and gender dynamics on the set.
