Lauren Polizzi has worked in the industry for over thirty years as a set designer and art director on such films as Jurassic Park to Star Trek Beyond. She has also taught at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles for over 14 years. In what follows, she shares her experiences with the shifting workplace dynamics that have resulted from mobile production and increased financial pressures.
